Ospi Montecito | A Coastal Italian Experience, Reimagined.

At the heart of The Post Montecito, just steps from the Bird Refuge and ocean breeze of East Cabrillo Boulevard, Ospi Montecito offers a new kind of dining experience on the Central Coast—effortlessly elegant, grounded in place, and deeply sensory.

Designed and furnished by our team at The Warner Group Architects, the restaurant blends natural materials, layered textures, and soft lighting to create a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere. From the sculptural green glass bar to the private booths framed by custom murals and velvet banquettes, every detail was considered to foster comfort and connection.

Building Montecito | Celebrating Jack Lionel Warner

The Warner Group Architects is honored to partner with the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) to work on an upcoming book exploring the remarkable life and work of Jack Lionel Warner, the visionary founder of our firm.

Widely regarded as one of the architects who defined Montecito’s distinct character, Jack Warner dedicated his career to designing timeless residences and landmark estates that harmonize with the region’s natural beauty. His work exemplifies elegance, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the landscape — qualities that continue to inspire our practice today.

From iconic hillside retreats to elegant coastal estates, Jack’s portfolio helped shape the architectural identity of Montecito and established a legacy of excellence that lives on through The Warner Group Architects. His work was widely featured in international design publications. He was not only a visionary architect but also an exceptional interior designer, seamlessly shaping spaces inside and out. During his tenure, The Warner Group Architects was featured in AD100 list four times — a true testament to his multifaceted talent.

In many of his drawings, Jack included a sketch of his wife, Joanna Barnes, as a human scale figure — a personal and touching signature that brought warmth and life to his architectural visions.

We look forward to sharing more about this exciting collaboration and celebrating Jack Warner’s enduring contributions in the months ahead.
